Day 139 The Little Lightbulb

Apparently Scott and I have little light bulbs above our heads and they determine our perspective on life.  Typically Scotts little light bulb is always in jokey, "have-a-little-laugh" mode and my little light bulb is always in (yup! you guessed it), serious, "I'm-taking-this-personally" mode.  So I only, just recently, within the last week, learned about these little light bulbs and I have to tell you how grateful I am for them.  In our communication Scott will kindly remind me that his jokey light bulb is on and that I need to turn my serious light bulb off and turn my jokey one on.  Obviously we communicate better when both our light bulbs are on the same page.  Ironically whenever Scott is joking, I'm serious and whenever I'm joking, he's serious.  So we have a long way to go to "sync" our light bulbs, but I can already tell a huge difference in our communication because of these silly little light bulbs above our heads.
