Day 9- NAPO; The Gratitude Project
I know what you are thinking, but I don't care. Today I am grateful for NAPO. I went to the monthly NAPO meeting of the Utah Chapter in South Jordan and had a multitude of thoughts run through my head. Mostly I was just giddy with excitement to find out there are other people in this world like me. People who have successful, thriving businesses. People who love to organize and help people de-clutter. So, FYI, I will be joining this Association and attending next month's meeting. Oh, and by the way, if you want me to come to your home to help you de-clutter before Christmas hits with all the new "stuff," shoot me an email;

The presenter, Ruth, had a lot of great ideas and I'm going to share some of them with you.
She talked mainly about three principles for down-sizing.
1. One in; one out.
2. Use it or lose it.
3. Think vertical.
If you are in the process of down-sizing to a smaller home or apartment, or you are just cleaning out a room or closet, or you just feel "in the mood" to get rid of stuff, here are some questions you can ask yourself that will help you in the process.
1. Is it useful and/or beautiful to look at? Does it make you feel good when you see it?
2. Can you imagine your life without it?
3. Does it enhance your quality of life?
4. Would you rather have the item or the money that it is worth?
Again, if you would like help de-cluttering your home, or if you want to give my services as a Christmas gift, or if you don't know where to begin and would like some direction send me a quick email dimonddeclutter@gmail.com!
Again, so grateful for NAPO.
