He taught us to ski when we were little. We bought cross country skis from DI and he took us up Farmington Canyon and taught us how to ski downhill. I will always remember those early years of skiing. We tried to ski down the mini hill of our front yard. Solitude was our resort of choice and by the end of our years in Utah we started to really enjoy Alta.
Now I go to Powder Mountain with my husband and his brothers. I'm not very good, but I sure do love being up there and skiing.
Today I was hired to be a Ski Instructor up there. I have a lot to learn and I'm not that great yet, but I have a season pass and I'm going to work hard!
Thanks Dad for all you taught me and for passing on your love of skiing to me!
