Family Reunion

Jon is here from St. George! He rode his new motorcycle all the way up. Couldn't believe it! He came up for the Dimond Family Reunion yesterday. Scott, me and Jon drove up to the Ski Lodge in Cokeville, WY for it. What a beautiful place! The most crystal clear water I have ever seen. Cold, too!
We arrived at the lodge and ate Navajo Tacos and Fruit. Craig and Lana made yummy dutch oven deserts. Peach Cobbler, and Spice Cake with apples and there was chocolate gooey yumminess and homemade ice cream. We played Cowboy Bingo and then listened to Grandpa Dimond's niece, Marilyn and her sister talk about the family legacy. They were able to gather enough information and submit it to the church history museum in SLC where they will keep it for our family to be able to access any time we would like.

Graham is a cutie! He is already six months old and just the chubbiest little baby ever.


After the Dimond Family Reunion we drove down the canyon and stopped at Grandma Bailey's home. We walked across the street first and explored the old shop and the old house. Last year we poked our heads into the abandoned house, but this year we were a little more brave and walked inside the house...very. very. slowly. I was expecting a family of raccoon's with rabies to jump out at any second and attack or even a hobo to roll over and say something. Nothing scared us though. It was a trip to walk through that old house that hasn't been lived in for twenty years. There were many old things that brought back childhood memories for Scott and his brothers. Grandma Bailey was glad to see everyone and finally meet Graham for the first time. Heidi asked if she could take a picture of her and Graham, so I snapped and snapped and snapped until Grandma Bailey finally told me, "That's enough!"

I like this one too of Lana and Graham! I might as well put Heidi and Graham too!
