For Thanksgiving this year we drove down to St. George to spend it with Jon, Scott's older brother. He's lived there for five years and attends Dixie College and works at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Since Emily and Josh (Scott's sister and boyfriend) came from San Diego on the 15th, we had an early Thanksgiving dinner, so in St. George we lined up outside of Golden Corral and ate a huge feast! It was delicious! Everything except the pies, surprisingly. 
Most of the weekend we spent lying around, playing Scrabble and eating junk food. It was heaven! We snuggled in blankets on the couch and watched WAY too much TV, but it was pretty much all we wanted to do for our break from work. We did venture out with the dogs for a short hike and exploration. The dogs loved running around and playing in the sand!Oh and did I mention it is WARM down south! That was my favorite part about visiting Jon; the warm weather!!
