October so far

Here are a few things that we have done this October. They are very much out of order and I am not feeling up to rearranging them. We took a small weekend trip to Las Vegas with one of Scott's friends, Aaron Sahim. His brother had a timeshare with an extra bedroom and we were invited to fill the vacancy. Lucky us! Ninety degree weather and a beautiful swimming pool for the weekend. Too bad I got sick half-way through Saturday and ended up walking up and down the strip like a zombie for two days. We still had fun sleeping, relaxing in a jetted bathtub and we also splurged and went to see The Blue Man Group. This is probably the one and only show Scott wanted to see in Vegas, however when it was over both Scott and I were highly disappointed. I think we expected more out of a professional, world-renowned show. I really couldn't believe I didn't completely enjoy it, but I didn't. Next time I want to see The Lion King.

It was Jamie's birthday on October 3rd. She turned 22 this year and we drove down to Provo on a Sunday afternoon to watch the last session of conference with her and Kaylee and then she made us dinner and we made her a cake so she could blow out candles. Her little house is really cute and unique. She has this adorable cat named Bird who was terrified of Sue and hid in the cupboards the entire day. I love my sisters!!! Kaylee came over too and we watched a movie and just hung out. It was great!! In fact, Jamie and Kaylee, when are we going to hang out again??

Well, again, these pictures are way out of order, but the weekend before conference was the General Relief Society Broadcast and Craig was able to get us all tickets. My sisters drove up from Provo and Lana picked up Hailey from Logan and we all met in Salt Lake City for the Broadcast. It was a great day and fun to spend it with all the people I love! The Broadcast was of course, amazing, and we went to TCBY afterwards for ice cream and girl talk. When the three of us sisters get together we are LOUD! Sorry Lana and Hailey!

These last two pictures are of Scott and I at Black Island Farm in Syracuse. The Preschool took a field trip there to go on a hayride and to choose a pumpkin from the pumkin patch. Scott and I just watched and took pictures. The little kids were so excited and so cute walking around the pumpkin patch. They had a fun tractor ride and then there were animals and slides and mazes and big jumpy toys and tons of fun things to do afterwards. There was even a pig race. Did you know they train their pigs with double stuff oreo cookies? Smart pigs.
