Happy Anniversary Scott!

Today is our first wedding anniversary and I want to wish Scott a Happy Anniversary!!! I love you so much and I am looking forward to a second year of adventures and fun memories.
We began our first year of marriage in Jackson Hole, WY. This picture is taken in front of our very first home (studio) together. We worked at the Pink Garter Theatre as their musicians. Some good memories include yummy sandwiches from the Creekside Deli and pasta from downstairs, our landlord having a home-birth above us one night, and Mario Kart.
Also, the twins. Scott is going to be such a great father one day! All summer long we watched and played with Abi and Bailey, the twins of our bosses. They brightened our days and made work much more bearable when it got tough. I watched Scott melt every time he held one of the girls and even though he says he is going to sell all the girls we have, I know he's going to fall in love with them the moment he lays eyes on them. One more reason I love my Scott. Oh and of course the red beard!
Our first semester at BYUH as a married couple. There were lots of new things to get used to like TVA (married student housing), and our couples ward with a baby here and there. Also, the desire to have friends disappeared and we became content to go to class and spend our time together practicing or just hanging out at home. Scott took up a somewhat new hobby, ocean fishing. We spent the Fall Semester fishing almost every day after class. Scott had enough patience to teach me and help me learn to rig up my line. Thanks babe! He was the one who caught most of the fish, though!
Just a pretty picture of us on Kauai when we visited for Thanksgiving. I love my Scotty so much!
We both graduated in December 2008 and I'm so proud of Scott. He worked for five long, hard years to graduate with a Bachelor's in Music from Brigham Young University Hawaii. We are a couple days away from performing our senior recital and completely finishing all the requirements there are to graduate. I think he looks so cute in his silly cap and gown.
After Graduation we spent Christmas in Utah with Scott's wonderful family. We all went snowmobiling, one of Scott's most favorite things to do. He loves to go really fast and up really steep hills. Next time we go I want to drive by myself on my own snowmobile. He went way too fast for me, but we still had a really fun time. The whole trip was lots of fun and a nice break before we had to come back for one semester of school.
Our last semester was full of performances and a tour to Maui. Scott was the star of both our ensembles, the Salsa Orchestra and the Steel Band. He played drumset for Salsa and in Steel Band he got put on a different instrument for almost every song. He is a very talented musician and I have learned a lot from watching him, working with him and taking his advice. He strives for excellence in all of his playing and that's one more thing to add to the list of why I love him. The costumes are silly, but the audience loved the song called Chicken Reel.
Scott makes me laugh every single day of my life and he's teaching me to get jokes. I'm kind of slow when it comes to humor. He makes me think more and strive to be better in everything that I do. I appreciate that encouragement. Scott is the best friend that I could ever have and I love that we get to spend the rest of eternity with one another! I love you Scotty, Happy Anniversary!
