Well, here we are at the end of our last Shaka Steel Band concert of our careers. We both have been a part of the band for close to five years. Scott since 2004 and me since 2002, with a couple year break in the middle. The concert was Friday night, April 3, 2009 and it was, by far, the best Steel Band concert we've ever been a part of. The crowd couldn't stop screaming and dancing for the entire concert! We wish all of you could have been there, but I'm sure we'll have DVD's to share with everyone.
A week and a half ago we had our last Salsa Concert, which went just as well! Scott was amazing and rocked the pants off everyone in the audience. He played so well and Dr. Duerden, our professor couldn't compliment his playing enough! Again, we wish you all could have been there.
School will be over in five days! The ironic part of is is that our senior recital isn't until May 2, and I still have one month left of my University of Hawaii class. Both of these things are required before we can officially graduate. We can't wait!
