Baby Shower
Friday Night was a wonderful evening spent with family at Aunt Laura's house! Synthia, Shana and various other people pitched in and put together a wonderful Baby Shower for Scott and I. I felt so loved and so grateful for all of the kindness and generosity of family. So many people to thank and Scott and I feel so very blessed! I especially loved that my dear, beloved Grandma Bradford was able to come over and spend an hour or so with all of us. She told me about her days in Mapleton and all the fruit trees she had in her yard; apples, cherries and peaches. She told me how she used to make cherry pie and made my mouth water with how delicious it sounded!
We ate delicious food including chicken salad, breadsticks, various kinds of fruit and yummy homemade bread from Aunt Natalie. DELICIOUS! Wish I had someone to cook for me every single day and more importantly to DECIDE what I will be eating each day.
My sweet Mom flew in from Kauai that very afternoon and made it through the entire day visiting and surprising me with a beautiful handmade ABC quilt from Kapa'a Stitchery on Kauai. Isn't she pretty?! And watch out for Kaylee, my youngest sister! Isn't she a hottie?! She drove up from Provo after a long day of working at the BYU Bakery and taking a really important test (which she aced)! I was so glad we waited to have this Baby Shower until both my Mom and sister could be there.
Sweet, sweet Synthia who put this all together and is so kind and thoughtful! Her 1st Anniversary is today, September 23rd. Happy Anniversary Synthia and Matt!!!
Thanks Aunt Natalie for the pictures! I didn't even pull my camera out once and so I'm lucky to have a thoughtful Aunt to compensate for my forgetfulness.
