In January, Scott was able to do a cross-country flight up to Cokeville, WY to his Grandma Bailey's Ranch. He landed right in her back yard with his instructor, Mark White.
Grandma Bailey came outside to watch Scott land and was very excited. She had us stay for lunch before Scott had to take off again.
We found out we were pregnant the day before my birthday, on January 28th, because I wanted to have a sushi dinner...I ended up eating filet mignon and opting out of the sushi! We are due October 1st and do not know what we are having. We want it to be a surprise!!
These pictures of Macy and Sue show what my life was like during February, March and April. I was sick, on the couch, every day, for three months. Tough, but worth it!!
By the end of March I was feeling good enough to go up with Scott for the first time in the R44. It was awesome and amazing and I felt so proud of him!

Kaylee came to visit us in Logan at the end of her Semester at BYU. We drove up to Bear Lake.
On June 12, 2012 my Grandpa Glen B. Hale passed away. My family, except for Kaylee, were able to fly in from Kauai to spend a very special weekend at the Ranch in Panguitch saying goodbye to my Grandpa.
