Helicopter Update

Hi all!

I'm trying to put together a video to post that shows Scott's first Solo Flight.  I'm not very fast at figuring out how to do it.

Scott has really progressed in the last couple of weeks.  He took is first Stage Check with the Chief Flight Instructor and passed!  Then this past Saturday he flew solo, all alone, singular, lone ranger style!  He waited all week for the weather to be perfect with winds at less than 10 knots (:) I think....I'm just pretending I understand all his aviation lingo now.)  Since he is a brand new pilot he has very strict regulations he has to follow for safety purposes.

Also, today Scott flew to Malad, ID and Ogden, UT for his first ever Cross-Country Flight.  He gets to do a few more in the coming weeks.  Maybe to Jackson Hole or he might even work it out to land on his Grandma's ranch in Cokeville, WY.  He was in the air for three hours and he took the same amount of time last night preparing his Flight Plan.  He is doing so awesome and I feel so proud of him!!
