So today I got a little "cry baby" when my brother and sister left me. We spent the weekend together partying with them and some friends. We spent New Years Eve eating, playing spoons and playing a game of Catch Phrase! Catch Phrase has been the game of the holiday season and it has been a blast playing with my family on Christmas Eve and Scott's family a half dozen times! On New Year's Day we went skiing on the most beautiful sunny, freezing cold day of the season. 2011 is proving to be a cold year so far.
I love my siblings and wish Jamie had been there with us to bring in the New Year. I am grateful to be part of such a wonderfully close family and hope that we all have an excellent year.
A wonderful lady bore her testimony is church today and said that over the last month her motto has been:
"I can do hard things."
Not that I expect the year to be hard, but I think having that kind of an attitude towards anything and everything that comes our way would be an excellent way to begin anew and fresh. I can do hard things. We all can do hard things and I know good, great and wonderful things will come from it.
