For all of you out there who don't know yet; I am a Ski Instructor at Powder Mountain (I've only been doing it for two weeks and I hardly know what I am doing). There are some amazingly awesome perks to working at a ski resort. First and foremost, my season pass.
I have never had a season pass to anywhere, let alone Ski Heaven. I usually only get to go skiing once or maybe twice a year. We go early, come home late, and the next day I wake up sore. But not now. I get to go skiing two or three times a week and I could go every day if I didn't have to work. Oh yeah, and did I mention I get paid to ski?
Since I missed a day of gratefulness, I'll just add here that not only am I grateful for MY season pass, but Scotty gets one too (at a very, very discounted price) and next year he gets one for free.
If you were wondering if I'm going to do it again, the answer is yes, and I will probably do it every year after (if they'll take me back)!
