| I'm pretty sure they weren't in love in the movie, but we are. |
 |
| We are not very good actors. |
 |
| I think we look amazing!! |

| Thanks to Scott's Dad, Craig, for taking the brilliant pictures. |
This year we were invited to a Halloween Party and so we had to come up with a costume. We had so much fun putting it together. You should have seen us at DI walking up and down the aisles trying to find anything that might work for either costume.
One of the young workers helped us find Scotty's hat and we bought a small lampshade to stuff up inside to give it some shape and then used a wire hanger to stiffen the rim.
(All Scott's ideas.) We found a pink sheet that we tore up for his hat and his bowtie and we used some fabric die and food coloring to give the bowtie some color. Scott just wore the suit he was married in and we pinned up the legs. We couldn't find orange socks for men, so we bought some for women, cut the toes off and he wore black socks and then pulled the orange ones up over them.
The first dress we saw at DI was the one we bought. It was an old pioneer looking dress and Scott said it was perfect. We cut off a lot of portions but just used a ton of safety pins to attach the collar and make it fit right. Scott rolled up the sleeves and stuffed them with an old wedding veil we found. We found the white socks at the dollar store and just bought a headband at Claire's. Lana let us borrow the apron.
It was a ton of fun putting the costume together and I think we will probably do something again next year!
Yeah you guys look pretty legit!
