Frustrate


I pulled my quad about two weeks ago.  It didn't hurt that much at first and so I kept running on it.  (I was training for a 10K on October 9th.)  Then last week I ran on Monday and I knew that was it.  It hurt so bad.  So for the past week I've been "resting" and icing and heating about twice a day.  BUT, I may lack patience, it isn't healing and I want to run again.  Or walk for that matter.  I hobble around like a cripple and Scott keeps asking if he should get me a wheelchair.  Suggestions, anyone?  I want a miracle.

  1. Adrienne... Recovery has it's own timing....sadly resting rotating ice and heat are the best options. Ginger taken internally is a wonderful helper for the inflamation. Take care. Rest . Hydrate =]

  2. Yes. You should get a wheelchair. I will teach you how to do all kinds of tricks on it.
